Dining area

Less than 20 minutes from the vibrant ski resort of Morzine you can hire the whole Chalet for 15 persons, plus 2 more on the comfortable top floor sofabed on a self-catering basis. We can arrange delicious evening meals to be delivered to your door, if you fancy a night off from cooking.


Situated just an hour and a half from Geneva airport we can arrange shared or private airport transfers at competitive rates with our partner transfer service.

Absolutely stunning

The hosts have a great knowledge of the local area and are always happy to help without being intrusive. The biggest plus for me though was the food! WOW! I love to eat in good quality restaurants and have all over the world but some of the nicest meals I have eaten were at Chalet Hugo. Home made pizzas from the original wood-fired pizza oven, a pasta dish to die for and local speciality tartiflette. We also had a unique pudding worth a revisit on its own - Stumble Crumble! Garden fruit stored in gin and topped in a delicious crumble topping. We will return with our children as there is so much to do - relax and do nothing or biking, paragliding, skiing, walking, beautiful lake Geneva and medieval villages, this place has it all. Thank you Alida and Andy for a truly amazing holiday.

100% recommend it to all

We went to chalet Hugo as a group of 11 adults and older kids . From the moment we walked in it felt like home from home . The accommodation was amazing and the food was to die for. Andrew took us out on the slopes each day and made sure we skied as much as we could then returned home to Alida’s home cooking . This is by far the best accommodation we have experienced and we would 100% recommend it to all.

Wonderful!

What a fantastic experience we had at Chalet Hugo. Andy and Alida made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was phenomenal and we thoroughly recommend the homemade Pizza (best I’ve tasted) and the Lasagne… yes I believe Alida has an Italian heritage. The sticky toffee pudding puts Cartmels to shame! We will be returning …hopefully in the not too distant future! Wonderful!

Whilst the Chalet is ideal occupied as a whole for larger mixed families and groups, sections of the Chalet can be split into separate, self-contained gîte accommodation for smaller groups. As a whole the Chalet accommodates 15 people (or more, in separate, attached, gîte accommodation).


We can provide good quality, home cooked ad-hoc meals as required (subject to pre-order) for delivery to your door. Choose from delicious local specialities, fragrant curries and French classics, all prepared with care for the perfect finish after an active day in the mountains.

Please note that on Google Maps the road name appears as Ancien Chemin d'Abondance au Biot, which is the old name for our postal address of Impasse du Bois du Vaney.


Chalet Hugo is situated close to Morzine. We can take up to 8 of our bed and breakfast clients directly to their chosen lifts, for example Super Morzine or the Pleney, less than 20 minutes away.


When approaching Chalet Hugo from the direction of Le Biot village, when you reach the sign for Le Corbier, Impasse du Bois du Vaney is the first road on the left.
